How to create a quiz — step-by-step guide

1. Open the Quiz Builder

In the main menu choose Discover → Quiz Builder. The quiz creation page opens.

2. Fill in the basics

• Title: e.g. "World Capitals Quiz"
• Description: a short text shown at the top of the quiz
• Language: the quiz's original language. Choose carefully, because it can only be changed later once everything is fully translated
• Category: the topic your quiz is listed under

3. Add questions

Click Add question and choose a question type:

• Single or multiple choice
• True / false
• Anagram
• Fill in the blank
• Match pairs

Question fields

• Text: the question itself
• Image: optional
• Options: mark the correct answer
• Explanation: shown after answering, so players understand why an answer is right

4. Set behavior and scoring

• Points per question
• Questions to show: picks this many at random on each attempt. Leave empty to show all
• Time per question (seconds): leave empty for unlimited
• Allow timer toggle: lets players switch the timer on or off
• Pass threshold: a percentage or a fixed number of correct answers

5. Save and publish

Click Save. Your quiz appears in your library, where you can share it publicly.

6. Add translations

After saving, use the Translate button to make the quiz available in other languages.
